"Some doors should stay closed." That line from The Camby introduces Midnight Manor, an abandoned-mansion pop-up bar that opens for four nights at the end of the month. The doors do open, though, and only on a reservation clock. Each booking holds a one-hour slot and takes a $40 non-refundable fee up front. The fee comes back as a credit on the final bill.
That detail sums up how Halloween works around Camelback Road and 24th Street. The season's biggest nights happen inside hotel bars and golf clubhouses. Attendance is set by time slots, ticket tiers, and stay packages. The Camby has also made Halloween the first stop in a series of themed pop-ups that runs through Labor Day weekend 2027.
Two Haunted Mansions, Two Nights Apart
The Biltmore's two biggest Halloween events sit less than a mile apart on Camelback. Both use the same idea, a grand old house with something strange happening inside, but they run very differently.
At the Arizona Biltmore, Spire Bar becomes The Alchemist's Lounge for one night, October 30. The resort describes "mysterious potions," a sparkling wine toast, a dessert table, tarot card readings, specialty cocktail stations, a live DJ, and its costume contest, which has multiple categories. The Eventbrite listing sets the hours at 7 p.m. to midnight. The page's opening line, "The Phantom returns," points back to last year's party. That 2025 event was billed as "Phantom of the Biltmore: A Masquerade of Shadows," and the resort's Halloween page now keeps its photos under a "Phantom of the Biltmore Highlights" archive. For 2026 the masquerade has become an alchemy theme, but the Phantom branding stays.
At The Camby, 2401 East Camelback Road, Midnight Manor runs Wednesday through Saturday, October 28 to 31. The hotel describes candlelight, covered furniture, and mysterious portraits, along with themed cocktails, savory bites, and desserts. It also suggests guests look closely at "every portrait, key, and forgotten corner." The event menu includes a $45 four-course pairing.

The admission prices come from an event aggregator's copy of the Eventbrite listing. Specialty cocktails at the Biltmore party cost extra, since admission covers only the toast, desserts, DJ, tarot, and contest entry. The resort's Most Creative Costume prize is a complimentary spa treatment.
The two events don't really compete for the same evening. Midnight Manor runs four nights in short, one-hour seatings. The Alchemist's Lounge is one five-hour night. Friday the 30th is the only night when both are going at once.
Halloween Week, Date by Date
Put the area's October announcements side by side and Halloween stretches over about two weeks, with every stop booked through a hotel or a golf club.
- Thursday, October 15, at dusk. The Camby's last Dive-In Movie of the season shows Ghostbusters by the pool. Admission is free with an RSVP, and guests can watch from the water or the deck. RSVP on The Camby's site.
- Tuesday, October 27. Oktoberfest at Adobe Bar & Grille at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, with local beer from Shop Beer Co. Food stations include bratwurst, bierocks, soft pretzels, apple cider ham, German potato salad, and apple strudel. Details are on Adobe's events page.
- Wednesday, October 28, through Saturday, October 31, 6–11 p.m. Midnight Manor at The Camby.
- Friday, October 30, 7 p.m. to midnight. The Alchemist's Lounge at Spire Bar.
- Saturday, October 31, 1 p.m. The Camby's Spooky Tea, a Halloween version of its signature Tipsy Tea with themed bites and seasonal drinks. Costumes are encouraged. Reserve through The Camby.
Smaller weekly events fill the gaps. Adobe holds Ball Washer Bingo every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. It's all-ages, with hourly drink specials and rotating guest callers. Adobe's fall hours started October 1 and run until 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Across Camelback at Biltmore Fashion Park, the free Sweat & Reset outdoor fitness series meets on the Center Lawn on Sundays from 9 to 10 a.m. lululemon leads October 18 and Life Time leads October 25. Paint & Sip: The Fashion Edit runs Thursday, October 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A professional artist teaches fashion sketching while a live model wears two looks from a Biltmore Fashion Park retailer.
Who the Hotels Are Pricing For
Most of these listings came out through one channel, the Biltmore Area Partnership's October 2026 newsletter, where the resort, The Camby, Adobe, and Biltmore Fashion Park each promote their own month. The Arizona Biltmore's section is titled "Southwest State & Arizona Resident Offer," and it speaks directly to its neighbors:
"October brings the best of fall to Arizona Biltmore, inviting locals to rediscover the resort through memorable dining, live entertainment and beautiful evenings outdoors."
The same section lists Oktoberfest flavors and cocktails at Spire Bar, live music every Friday and Saturday at Renata's Hearth, and the Le Petit Chef & Friends dining experience. It calls the October 30 party the event the month "culminates" in.
The resort's Halloween stay package is built for a night away close to home. It includes a Citrus Club stay, two party admissions, and a one-time $100 food and beverage credit, according to the newsletter. It also includes complimentary self-parking and waives both the resort fee and the Historic Preservation fee. The listings differ on extra nights. The newsletter describes a $200 spa credit for each additional night, while the Eventbrite page says $200 resort credit. Confirm which one applies when you book.
The Pop-Up Is a Passport, and the Passport Runs Into 2027
The Camby's offer goes the furthest beyond Halloween. Midnight Manor is the first of five themed pop-ups on the hotel's $20 Pop-Up Passport. The passport includes priority reservations, 10% off each visit, VIP seating, and a welcome toast. Guests who collect a stamp at all five pop-ups get a complimentary cocktail and appetizer. The hotel suggests adding it when you make your Midnight Manor reservation, so the October booking is also the starting point for the rest of the year.
The full schedule from The Camby's events calendar, with every stop running Wednesday through Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m.:
- Midnight Manor, October 28–31, 2026
- Alpine Club, December 2–26, 2026
- Heartbreak Hotel, February 10–13, 2027
- Lucky Clover Club, March 17–20, 2027
- Founders Club, May 26–29, June 30–July 3, and September 1–4, 2027
The dates line up with the calendar. Heartbreak Hotel ends the night before Valentine's Day and Lucky Clover Club starts on St. Patrick's Day. Founders Club appears three times, at the edges of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Alpine Club is the outlier. The après-ski theme runs nearly all of December, from the 2nd to the 26th, which makes it the longest pop-up on the list. Anyone who buys the passport at Midnight Manor this month has about eleven months to collect all five stamps. The Camby's calendar page could change before then, so check the dates again before planning around a specific weekend.
What Comes After the Costumes
The next date on the Biltmore calendar comes before Thanksgiving. The Arizona Wishmakers Council is holding its first-ever Trees of Joy tree lighting at Biltmore Fashion Park on Wednesday, November 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. Holiday trees inspired by Make-A-Wish wish kids will be unveiled and lit, and tickets include bites from Fox Restaurant Concepts, Mrs. Claus' custom cookies, photos with Santa, and hot cocoa. The Biltmore Area Partnership's September newsletter lists early-bird tickets at $100 for adults and $20 for children. The event page says early-bird pricing ends October 17, five days from now. The organizers describe it as Make-A-Wish's "new holiday tradition."
Two weeks after the tree lighting, Alpine Club opens at The Camby on December 2. The holiday season around Camelback and 24th follows the same pattern as Halloween, with hotel bars, ticketed events, and stamps on the same passport.
